Fall 2018 Performances of Mary’s Music in Wellesley and Boston

Greetings, all! Mary will be taking a break from live performances while in residence at Helene Wurlitzer Foundation of New Mexico from September through December 2018, but in the meantime, here are some performances featuring Mary’s music happening in the Boston area for autumn 2018!:

09/30/2018: VENTO CHIARO’S FALL RECITAL @ WELLESLEY FREE LIBRARY
When: Sunday, September 30th @ 2:00PM
Where: Wellesley Free Library (530 Washington St., Wellesley MA 02482)
Tickets: FREE (all ages / no ticket required)
Details: Celebrated woodwind quintet Vento Chiaro presents their fall recital at the Wellesley Free Library! This performance will feature works by Chrétien, Fine, D’Rivera, Milhaud, and Bichner (2018’s “King’s Chapel”).

10/10/2018-10/14/2018: “IMMERSIVE 360° FILM SCREENINGS – MUSEUM OF SCIENCE SHORTS” @ HUBWEEK FESTIVAL
When: Wednesday, October 10th through Sunday, October 14th @ 11:30AM (five screenings)
Where: Charles Hayden Planetarium @ the Musuem of Science (1 Science Park, Boston MA 02114)
Tickets: FREE (all ages / *registration required*)
Details: Part of the HUBweek Festival, this selection of immersive short films produced by the Museum of Science, Boston will be a 360° feast for the senses! Featuring a number of short films created by the Museum’s award-winning team, including two films set to the music of composer Mary Bichner (“Virgo” and “Double Viola String Quartet in Eb”) that were originally created for the sold-out “Synesthesia Suite: Constellations” concert series in 2017. There will be five showings between Wednesday Oct 10th and Sunday Oct 14th, all free! (Registration required).
