“Boston Common” Performed As Part Of Phoenix Ensemble’s Parlor Series Concert on Sunday, March 31st @ 6:00PM

Mary is honored to announce that the amazing Phoenix will be performing her woodwind composition “Boston Common” during the ensemble’s upcoming Parlor Series concert at Bully Boy Distillers on Sunday, March 31st! Originally commissioned by the wonderful woodwind ensemble Vento Chiaro as part of The Boston Project, this three-minute synesthesia-influenced piece was inspired by a stroll Mary took through the Common — the oldest city park in the United States — on a very lively (and windy!) afternoon in November 2017.

The full program for this concert is fantastic and will feature classic works by celebrated composers Valerie Coleman, David Maslanka, and William Grant Still!
